Job Description

Location:  Great Yarmouth with travel to Aberdeen base and possibly overseas bases, Australia, Singapore, US

Primary role, coordination/management of accounts staff admin/bookkeepers/hire administrators through all functions of the accounts departments day to day function:

      • Sales invoicing
      • Hire invoicing
      • Credit control
      • Purchase and sales ledger
      • Planning payment runs
      • Processing expenses
      • Sub-hire analysis

              Preparing monthly management accounts

              Preparing year-end accounts

              Preparing for annual audit /  working with the external auditor

              Preparing weekly management financial reports

              Preparing cash flow

              Preparing forecasts and budgets with senior management

              Preparing and posting quarterly  VAT rebate submissions

              Forecasting corporation tax payments

              Meeting monthly and annual closeout targets

              Consolidation of group accounts


              Worked with oil and gas service company (ideal experience in equipment rental operations)

              Experience using asset tracking software (C-Sam ideally)

              Experience of SAGE 200 accounts and stock system

              Experience of international operations/offices Australia, Singapore, US

              Would be able to travel, monthly visits to Great Yarmouth facility

              Possible annual visits to international bases

              Experience in managing a team in base and in external locations

              Ability/experience in consolidating international group accounts


Payroll experience

 Norwegian tax experience

 International withholding tax experience

 R&D tax credit experience

Scottish development grants and other grants application, process and reporting


              Team player

              Motivated self-starter

              Competent user of IT and Software

              Good communication skills

              Experienced in managing  a team (internal, external and international)

              Able to work with other inter-company departments

              Hold a professional qualification in accountancy

              Minimum 5 years senior management experience
